Setting the record straight, and a vexing conundrum....

Hey pups,

I feel I MUST set the record straight, I have been misrepresented in a public forum - and my character has been assassinated !!!!!

My good buddy Marvin has been proclaiming that his ma says that I am NOT so gruff !!!! Not so gruff, indeed !!!!!! I don't know where she ever got that opinion from ! Tell me - look at this face - is this not the gruffest of all gruff faces ?????

Hmphhhh I say !!!!

But, hang on a minute - when Marvin's ma was here, I was caught doing this -

But when I am home with SHD & SHM - I look like this -

What does that mean ???? A vexing conundrum ??? Or a simple answer of mum and dad make me gruff, but Marvin's ma makes me happy ??????

Hmmmmm - I had best eat my toilet rolls, and have a snooze on it to ponder the answer.

Naughty Gruffpuppy !!

Hey pups,

Sorry for the break in updating - things have been very hectic around our house for the past few weeks.

Marvin's mum left yesterday - and much gruffness has ensued :( We really enjoyed all the extra attention, and she gave the best pats ever ! I hope she comes back again soon - I was very smiley when she was here,


- now I am gruff again !

Speaking of gruff, mum got VERY gruff with me when they were away in NSW - she gave me a stern talking to when they got home. You see, I decided that I really didn't want to stay at the Vet's for the week - even though Charlie was there too - so I tried to bust out of my cage and go home. Mum and SHD were anxious enough about leaving us - well, mainly Charlie, because he is "fragile" and all that - but they had not been gone 24hrs and the Vet was calling them saying that I had tried to escape. The thing was, I busted my head through my STAINLESS STEEL cage and got my head stuck - the Vet said that in her 10 years she has NEVER had any pup bend the wire on the cage. Hehehehe - she hadn't met me - the gruffest of all gruffpuppies !!!!

So, mum and SHD were very upset with me - and told the Vet that I was to be sedated each night - ahhhhhh, drugs - now that was the way to go :) I behaved myself after that, and by the time mum came and picked me up, I was behaving myself. Mum said I was a very naughty gruffpuppy !!!

I am still catching up on my sleep - so will catch you all later :)

Well, we are off to the Vet's today for almost a whole week whilst mum and SHD and J go galavanting around the countryside. Poor me :(
