In honour of Charlie the Big Dog.....
Hey pups,
We are all alittle sad around here today.
Today, December 16, would have been Charlie's 14th barkday.
Charlie loved so many things - but he loved cheeseburgers and nuggets the best.
I spent the morning explaining to Benson what a special day it was - and we made a special request of mum to bring home cheeseburgers and nuggets in honour of Charlie - our special boy.
We waited ever so patiently to eat them - of course mum had to take the obligatory photo. We were too quick for her though - and she didn't get any pics of us eating (or inhaling !) our goodies :)
Charlie - we hope that there is a McDonalds up at the Bridge, and we hope that you eat your fill of cheeseburgers and nuggets today. We miss you.Love

Last year I woke up today and cried because Charlie was still with us for his birthday - this year I woke up today and cried because he wasn't. I miss him so much.

I stole my Human's French Fries yesterday in C$'s honor! I was happy to do my part.
I will go out right now and get some mickey d's in honor of Charlie. Shoot I'm starvin anyhow.
Today is also my older sister's b'day and Beethoven's b'day. Now we know it was Charlies earth b'day. I have given my dearly deprted ones new b'days. Like Mom, Dad and Tess and all the others. Their BEST b'day. The one across the bridge where they are always happy, healthy and waiting, very happily painfree for us to join them.. Hey, might sound nutty, but makes me feel better.

We miss him too. I bet Charlie is eating 30 cheeseburgers and 200 nuggets with no ill effects. Its not the 16th here yet but I am going to make Mom get some nuggets tomorrow to celebrate Charlie's life.

We miss Charlie too. Such a sweet sweet boy. But we sent him my flat brother to play with today and hopefully they are having the most fun ever. Happy Birthday C$ and happy special treats for Opy and Benson!

We got your awesome Christmas card in the mail today! Tears were sliding down mom's cheeks as she stared into Charlie's happy face! We will be saving this card forever! It was Charlie that opened up a whole new world of friends for us! Thank you so much, Charlie and you too, Opy!
