Opy - the Original GruffPuppy

Tuesday, October 20, 2009

Hey pups,

I am off to see Dr Nick tomorrow for the day - and probably into the night. I am having some of my lumps and bumps removed - I have LOTS, but there are a few that are starting to annoy me and I can't sleep on my side because of them. They are only lipoma's - but I will be going "under" - so wish me well ! I will have a nice sleepies - then I will get lots of TLC at home, because I will have some stitches. Mum and dad will have to keep BJP away from me, I think. We don't want him doing this -

See the picture below - you can see one of my lumps just above my ribs.

There is only one lump I want removed, and no one will agree to that -

Hehehehe

Love

Opy
the alittle lumpyless gruffpuppy.

Miss Opy! This is a great excuse to remove the annoying puppy from your vicinity. You will need extra love for sure. Good luck. Don't get up too fast after your surgery, OK? You don't want to spin out like I did. Most embarrassing.

Those are mighty big lumps. I am so relieved that they are just cosmetic, right? You will be so happy to sleep on your side again.

Slobbers,
Mango

Good luck! Moose just had a few removed last week so he understands. I know technically it is no big deal but I was nervous too about him going under so understand that too. Paws crossed that all goes well!

OMD! We are soooo happy you are home, Opy! (We read it on Facebook). We hope you will be much more comfy without the lumps. I, Poppy have a lipoma on my chest. I'll be getting it off as soon as my peeps can afford it. It bothers Mom more than it bothers me!

Aire-hugs,
Poppy, Penny & Patches

Hey Opys,

Glads to see from your mum's FB wall that you are homes with a few less lumps. I think the "real" lump you wanted removed is called a love lump. They kinda comes with the territory and every family is supposed to have at least one or two arounds.

Be carefuls for a while. Maybe the love lump will evens make you feel betters faster.

Wuufs.

I hope everything goes well! Samuel had a HUGE lipoma removed from his side earlier this year. His incision was bout 8-9 inches (22 cm) long! He still has some smaller ones (marble and golf ball sized) on his chest area, but so far they aren't bothering him.

Get well soon!!

Hi Sweetie -- You have more than enough reasons to be gruff but we hope you'll be recovering quickly and go back to being Ms. Yipee.

We know you think you'd have preferred to get rid of the BJP lump -- but once you're back together and he starts giving you puppy love, perhaps you'll change your mind.

In the meantime, lots and lots of wirey love to speed your healing!!

Sorry to hear that you had to have some surgeries......I know it isn't any fun. Mr. WHiksers has a bunch of those things on him, too. Our vet keeps watch on them but they seem to multiply. Hope you are feeling well very soon!
