Yes, this is supposed to be MY blog, and all about ME - but today is a very special day, and I don't mind sharing, just this once :)
Today, December 16th - is Charlie's 13th birthday.
Without getting all soppy & sentimental - it is a huge milestone for all of us. With all that Charlie has been through this year - we really didn't think he would make it to this birthday, and without the pacemaker implant - he wouldn't have. It has been a rollercoaster ride - with many ups and downs - but he has made it this far - and still manages to annoy and bother me! (Note - MY bed again being ripped up below !).
We got McNuggets and Cheeseburgers to celebrate this special occassion - and mum tried to take some photoes to send to dad, who is away at the moment (and it is his birthday tomorrow) - we will be doing lots of celebrating when he gets back on Friday night :)
Charlie went back to Dr Peter last Thursday and had his 6 month pacemaker check up - all is well, and he also had a chest xray - all clear with that as well. Dr Peter doesn't want to see him for another 6 months - mum said "you can count on that !!!!". So, all is well with the Big Dog - do you think mum and dad can start paying ME some attention now ???

I felt alittle teary when I awoke this morning - I couldn't believe that Charlie had made it to his birthday. I had never thought he would get here, after all the "up's and down's" of the past 6 months - he never gave up, and he wouldn't let us give up either. I love you Charlie - more than you will ever know.
I think I am cute - Charlie think's I am fat - I prefer "big boned".
I love my mum and dad, and have them wrapped around my little paw.
I love Charlie too - but, shhh, don't tell him !
