Busy times....

Hey pups,

Just incase you have forgotten what I - Opy, the Original Gruffpuppy, looks like - here I am, in all my pretty glory :)

We have had busy times here at our place lately. First up, the other week - we had the Leuradales pinky and Ellie & Bazzy's pinkies come and visit us. Well, I think they came more to eat BBQ food and drink silly water - but we weren't forgotten either, and it was very nice to get some long overdue attention. Lord knows we need it - we NEVER get any attention around this place !!

Look at them - relaxing in the cinema room - and where are Charlie and I, I hear you ask ??? Nowhere to be seen - that's where !

Then last weekend, mum's sissy came to visit - she flew down from Sydney, and her and mum had a "girlie" weekend - although dad was home on Sunday, so I don't know how he fits into the "girlie" weekend ???? And, I am also a "girlie" - and did I get to join them on any of their "girlie" outings or adventures ??? Well, I think you all know the answer to that :( Poor me, I was lucky to get my foodables, let me tell you !!!!!!!!

They did lots of eating and drinking, and went to lots of places - they went to St Kilda Markets on Sunday, and apart from mum nearly getting them squished by a tram - they had a fabo time. Here are some pics.

Mum also bought home these fella's - is she trying to replace Charlie & I ???? Should I be worried ?????

In honour of the weekend, mum bought this picture for the wall - it is called "Tipsy Town" - and mum says it is very fitting for the weekend, as mum and her sissy got "tipsy" quite a bit !!! Silly mummy !Stay tuned for an announcement VERY soon - like maybe even tomorrow - about our DWB 1000th member competition. Very exciting !!!!!!

Our buddies over at the FleasGang have had a very tough time lately - they recently lost Scarlett, and now sweet Simon has also gone to the rainbow bridge.

I am sure that Scarlett & Simon are having lots of fun playing together again - but their mum and dad could really do with our support - please stop by their blog and let them know we are thinking of them.

I guess the title says it all :)

Go here to get the code to put the button on your page - if you click the button it will take you to a form to fill in and you can submit it to be added to the exchange.

We are making things alittle easier this year - you will get one master list and you can choose to send as many or as little cards as you like, via snail mail or email - or a combo of both.

Closing date for registering is Monday November 10th.

Please note - as there are no requirements this year to post to all etc, it would be nice to include some cards to pups that register that you may not visit regularly - make some new friends and think outside your regular blog list.

Also, you will need to be comfortable with others having your physical snail mail and email address. Goes without saying that this list will not be publicly distributed for anyone to see - it will only be sent to those who register to participate. DogsWithBlogs has always prided itself on protecting our members privacy - and it is something that we take VERY seriously.

Lordy, please have mercy on us..........help us please !!!!!

Many months ago, I posted about how terribly sad my mum and SHD were as they had EVERY episode of Beverly Hills 90210 on videotape (what the heck is "videotape", all you young pups must be thinking !).

Anyway, not only did they have EVERY freaking episode - but Charlie and I were regularly subjected to hours upon hours, days upon days, months upon months - of viewing, almost 24/7.

We had to put up with commentary as well - random cries of "Valerie is such a bitch, she deserves all she gets", "Kelly is such a whinger", "How much more surgery can Donna have ?" etc etc etc. (Note - it is always the character name, not the "real" name - even sadder still !).

Charlie even has his own 90210 pillow !

So, what has all this got to do with today ?

Well, mum is fizzing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mum has SHD frantically scouring the net to "acquire" it.

Can some pup please send us some earplugs - as I really don't think, at my age, I should have to put up with such abuse !
