Farewell to a good friend.......

For those of you who have been with DWB's from the near beginning - you probably are all familiar with Charlie Kelley Church's (C-K-C) mum's brave battle with cancer. If you look to the right of Opy's blog, you will see the "Paws for Kathleen" button - we were all shocked and concerned when her cancer returned.

Kathleen lost her battle on July 23, 2008. She was 61 - and fought a very courageous battle.

Our hearts are heavy for her husband Thomas, and of course dear sweet C-K-C, and the kitties.

There will be a new star shining bright in the night sky - Kathleen, you have earned your angel wings. We will miss you, and we are honoured that you were a part of our DWB community.

We had super, cool visitors.......but mum and dad are stupid !!!!!

That's right pups - our mum and dad are so stupid !!!! "Why" ? I hear you ask ?????

Well..............we had our extra special visitors come to see us yesterday, and mum and dad were too busy drinking the silly water - and they forgot to take ANY photo's of us with our visitors ! How stupid is that ??????

Ellie & Bazzy's pinkies came for lunch - and we had lots of fun playing with them, and leaving all our furs over them - especially Charlie who has lots of fur flowing around at the moment ! They gave us lots of pats and cuddles - and we rewarded them with lots of stinky kisses and headbutts :) We wished that they could have stayed downstairs and played with us longer - but Charlie was getting all "huffy puffy" on account of all the excitement - so everyone (except us !) went upstairs and had a yummy bbq, with lots of silly water !!!!

We did get some great pressies off Tim & Jo - and mum did manage to take some pics of us playing with them - of course, Charlie wanted BOTH stuffies, so I had to yell at him ! It was okay though, as we also got some yummy roo sticks, and I ate most of those whilst Charlie wasn't looking :) Tee Hee !!!!


A great time was had by all - although, I am alittle gruff at the below picture, as mum has been calling me "wide load" all afternoon - HOW RUDE !!!!!! I am gonna zap her with my scary, laser eyes !!!!!
