DWB Card Exchange Update & stuff in general.....

Hi everypup and GG,

Sorry I have been alittle slack in the bloggy updating department - but things are frantic at our place. Mum and dad have been going back and forth between our old kennel and our new one - 9 hours drive each way - and they are "flat out" - whatever that means. All I know is that we are getting left at home and grandma & grandpa come and feed us - and we get NO inside time !!!!! I miss my mum and SHD !

Anyway, I have dragged the old girl out of bed to help me quickly update my bloggy.

The submissions for the DWB's Card Exchange are coming in furiously, latest tally is -

Region A - 52
Region B - 7
Region C - 18

We still need lots more Region B & C's - so comeon, get in the spririt ! It doesn't cost anything to send an ecard. Don't worry though - if the B Region tally is alittle low by the deadline - I will contact you all and we will work something out - fear not, Opy is here to sort these things out :-)

Also, we got some cool pressies the other week - my love TinTin sent me some cool stuffs and a lovely note, that I now sleep with under my pillow in my bed. And Hammer & his family sent mum and dad a really nice crystal as a pressie for the new kennel - that was very nice of them. Although, I got alittle gruff when mum said it was for her new kennel, not mine :-(



Gotta run pups - I hope that I can still update my bloggy over the next month (the move is on October 20th - 25th) - but please forgive me if I am not able to update as much as I would like to. I do still love each and every one of you - but it is all mum's fault, and I don't want her to chuck a hissy fit at me :-)

Sorry for all the yelling, but I am very excited !

DogsWithBlogs is proud to present to you all the "Official DogsWithBlogs 2007 Holiday Card Exchange" (round of applause, fanfare etc etc) -

Click on the button below for all the details and the form you need to fill out.

Also, here is the code so you can all put the button on your bloggies and help spread the word.

In summary, here is what the majority decided -

* Cards to be sent/emailed on a Region based list

* You will receive the addresses etc of all pups on the region list you specify - you are then committed to sending cards/ecards to all pups on that list - no exceptions !

* You will also receive the "Master List" addresses of ALL regions - you can then send cards/ecards to any pups on the master list - but not in your region - if you wish. Remember though, this is your decision and you may or may not receive cards in return.

* You will need to be comfortable with others having your physical snail mail and email address. Goes without saying that this list will not be publicly distributed for anyone to see - it will only be sent to those who register to participate. DogsWithBlogs has always prided itself on protecting our members privacy - and it is something that we take VERY seriously.

* Closing dates for registration is Monday November 12th (Aussie time) - so that will be November 11th in the US.

* Lists will be co-ordinated and distributed shortly after this date.

* Please try and get your cards in the post by early December, so all pups can receive them by the holidays. Ecards can be sent at anytime.

* Cards can be whatever you like - last year we had a huge variety - hand made ones, printed ones, generic shop bought ones - it doesn't matter - but it is fun to somehow personalise the card from your pup.

Moving update.....and a BIG "What the....?"

Hey everyone,

Firstly, thanks for all the nice comments about our "hopefully" new big kennel. I sure hope we get it - I think we will have lots of fun there. We are looking at moving around October 20th - so we still have some time, but have lots to do, so mum says it is best to start now. You will all probably be well and truly sick of hearing about our move by the time we actually go !

Secondly, check out how enthausiastic mum got today !!! Wow, I am impressed ! 6 whole boxes ! See those cupboards behind the boxes ? Well, that is what filled the 6 boxes - plus she chucked alot of stuff out too. Well done mum - I am impressed with todays effort....you can go and sleep on the lounge now in your sleepy pants.



Thirdly, on to the "What the....?".

I overheard mum talking to SHD on the phone last night and I heard her say "Charlie is going to be so jealous - and I don't even think I dare tell Opy - as she will be the gruffest ever !!!!!". I had no idea what she was on about - until I checked Charlie's bloggy this morning....mum, to say that I am the "gruffest ever" would be an understatment !!!!

SHD went and visited TinTin !!!!! Oh my DoG !!!!! Now, most people know that I have a few boyfriends around the place (no Charlie, I am not a "floosie") - I have Buster, Maxey, and Mackie as my long distance loves - but I only have 1 Aussie guy - and that is my darling TinTin. I can't believe that SHD went to visit him without me - and without me knowing ! Spur of the moment thing - my fat patootie !!!!!!!! I am SO very gruff - I hope that SHD at least thought to bring me back some fur so I am put it under my pillow.

Anyway, here are a few picks of the meeting....I am too angry to look at them properly yet - maybe later.

And no mum - you can't bribe me with a bone. I am not bought off that easily............well, okay.....I will accept your bone as a peace offering.......but I am still so very gruff !!!

The new big kennel......

Hey pups & GG,

If you have been bothered to go visit stupid Charlie's bloggy, you will have read that SHD went and looked at a house for us to move to earlier on in the week. Mum was very trusting as she told SHD that, as she wasn't able to get down to Melbourne, the house hunting was up to him, and his decision to make. (Secretly, I think she just wanted to be able to blame him if he picked somewhere she didn't like !).

Anyways - it looks like we have may have secured the house. Paws crossed, everypup - okay ? We are all pretty excited about it, as we really didn't want to all have to live in the back of the car - apparently, I snore - but I know that Charlie's butt can get very stinky - and in close quarters....well, that would have been a recipe for disaster !!

See, there is lots of room for us to be able to have DWB's parties and for visitors to stay over :-)

****MOVING UPDATE****

Mum got alittle enthausiastic this morning and decided to wrap all the pictures from the walls. As you can see, Charlie helped - well, I think he was protesting that she was ignoring him.


All done !!! 3 hours later !


Time for a snooze - very hard work this supervising !
